I was asked to hatch earlybird and create the art direction, creative assets, design the website and the app.

Decisions were made to build out the website using Bootstrap and to preclude the use of a CMS to insure quick performance metrics.

Careful UI/UX considerations were given to the registration flow, advance flow, light + dark modes, and for the navigation.

Right out of the box, the first page-speed report said that the website was really performing well across all of the metrics. –Let the fine-tuning begin!

Designing a mobile first, responsive site is first and foremost. It has to look good on all devices.
